I began to learn karate four years ago, and I’ve continued to go to lessons

learn at my own, because the teaching is so good.’

school’s Outdoor Adventure Club, and I went to my first meeting last night. I’m really
excited about this. The club is planning a hiking trip next weekend. I definitely want to go.
I hope it won’t be too hard for my first adventure. Last night they also decided to go rafting
in the spring. At first I didn’t want to sign up, but the leader was so nice. He urged me not
to miss this trip, so I put my name on the list. After the meeting, a group of people asked
me to go out with them. We went to a coffee shop and talked for hours. Well, I hoped to
make some new friends when I joined this club, but I didn’t expect everyone to be so
friendly. I’m glad Annie persuaded me not to give up.
